Lunch date

Dallin asked Hailey out for lunch last week. She had a few butterflies as you can see from her nervous smile! But as usually she talked his ear off!

As the date progressed she must have run out of material!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins and more Pumpkins

Hailey went to her very first Pumpkin Patch, and I think it was a hit!

It took her no time at all to get comfortable with her surroundings and start the exploration!

Thanks aunt Suzy for coming along for all the fun!

No good pumpkin run is complete with out stopping for Pumpkin pie fro-yo! MMMMM might be one of Hailey/Mommy's favorite! And for that reason, we love this time of year!

What's better then Hailey's favorite puppy dog?

Two of Hailey's puppy dogs!

Since Hailey was old enough to grab, she chose "Spunky" to be her watch dog! It was love at first sight and to put it lightly, there will be no sleep (for anyone) unless Spunky is near! Hailey loves to kiss (aka: suck) Spunky's leather nose, which has led to an offensive oder problem, this is why doggy #2 was necessary! While one is taking a dip in the washer, the other is ready for some snuggle time. Needless to say it was double the pleasure when #2 was revealed.

One last trip to "Mom's Beach" before summer comes to a close.

2 of Hailey's favorite things, running away mid-dipper change, and her new door toy.

Sometimes free is best! Why do I buy toys?

Hailey's first friend birthday party. Thanks Addison for turning 2 and having 2 parties!

Because I think my baby is beautiful!

Last Sunday, Hailey had a little photo-shoot for no reason other then I think she is beautiful!

After her shoot, Hailey went to the park with her buddy Dallin for some quality swing time.

It's Stinkin HOT

You know it's hot when . . .
Your baby wakes up looking like this!

You know it's hot when . . .
Your baby rests her hands in your ice water without flinching!

You know it's hot when . . .
play-dates become afternoons of sitting in buckets of hose water!

You know you need Air Conditioning when . . .
The very heavy medal fan thats been propped in the window pummels on your head!

Our Big News

I figure it's time to end the suspense! After the last post, I realized that when I mentioned "big news" I might have raised allot of curiosity, and have since received a number of phone calls. Let me put your minds to rest . . . I am not pregnant, we are not going anywhere, we did not win the lotto, or get chosen to be the next family on Extreme home makeover (which would be awesome!) Our big news is that after 10 long awaited months, and watching all her younger friends pass her by, Hailey is officially crawling! Sorry this might be a let down to many of you out there who were expecting something REALLY juicy. But for Hailey and I this is life changing. Here are a few videos to show her progress.
Here is some of her past attempts. Ammon was a good coach! Not to mention TJ's skills definitely helped push her along!

And finally my "not so creepy crawler"!

Ch 4-5-6

As you might have noticed I have been slacking on my blogging. But before I can move on to the big news, we must first give a shout out to all our friends who we loved seeing on our very LLOOOONNNG vaca. . . Unfortunately we stopped taking pics after week one, so we are limited on our photo montage!
Thanks Rob and Mel for hosting a great B day party for Dad in the "New OC" Hailey had so much fun playing with her cousin TF!

Ammon was able to see one of his best friends from growing up while out in the OC (Oklahoma city).

The last few weeks of our trip Hailey spent her days crawling backwards, which often time forced her into small predicaments like, how do I now get myself out from underneath the bed?

After 3 weeks of fun visiting with everyone, we reach the moment we had all been dreading . . .
the 23 hour car ride home!

Thanks to the Dardanos, the Dahls, the Bowmens and the Glades for making our trip so much fun! We love yall!
